Last updated: September 21, 2026. These Terms apply to the ComputeX Stock Agent and related website, checkout, license activation, software delivery, support, and Community Forum services. By purchasing, downloading, activating, connecting, or using them, you accept these Terms.
1. Eligibility and user responsibility
You must be at least 18, legally able to contract, and permitted to use the connected services in your location. You are responsible for your ComputeX account, computer, broker and market-data accounts, credentials, settings, and activity. Do not share passwords, activation keys, API secrets, authentication codes, or licensed access.
2. Product scope and user control
The Stock Agent is self-directed desktop software for stock and ETF monitoring, technical screening, formula-based ranking, completed-candle entry and exit evaluation, account and position visibility, historical review, and user-configured order workflows. When you enable a supported live workflow, it may prepare or transmit order instructions through your configured broker connection. You choose the formula, limits, permissions, services, accounts, and whether live functionality is enabled.
3. No personalized investment, legal, or tax advice
ComputeX is a software provider. It is not your broker, investment adviser, fiduciary, financial planner, tax adviser, or attorney. ComputeX does not evaluate your objectives, experience, financial circumstances, liquidity needs, or risk tolerance. Rankings, candidates, alerts, formulas, scores, tests, explanations, forum posts, support messages, and software decisions are informational technical outputs, not personalized recommendations to buy, sell, or hold a security.
4. Supported connections and independent providers
The current Stock Agent supports user-authorized Alpaca access for supported stock and ETF market data and a user-provided Robinhood account for supported brokerage workflows. Robinhood and Alpaca are independent third parties. Their agreements govern eligibility, entitlements, custody, routing, execution, fees, privacy, and availability. ComputeX does not control their systems.
5. Non-custodial operation and regulatory limits
ComputeX does not receive, hold, transmit, manage, or withdraw customer funds or securities. Funds and securities remain in the account you maintain with your brokerage provider, and order instructions travel through the connection you authorize on your computer. ComputeX does not act as your broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, clearing agency, bank, custodian, or money transmitter through the Stock Agent service.
Non-custodial design does not by itself resolve every legal or regulatory question. Requirements can depend on activity, product, location, and user. ComputeX makes no claim that this disclosure creates an exemption, registration, approval, or determination by the SEC, FINRA, FinCEN, CFTC, NFA, or another authority. You remain responsible for laws, broker rules, market-data terms, and trading restrictions that apply to you.
6. Automated trading and market risk
Trading can cause partial or total loss. Automated tools can act quickly and may repeat an error before you notice. Orders may be delayed, duplicated, rejected, cancelled, partially filled, filled at an unexpected price, or not transmitted. Slippage, spreads, volatility, limited liquidity, extended-hours conditions, halts, corporate actions, stale positions, fractional-share rules, and broker restrictions can materially change outcomes.
Results depend on formula design, settings, data quality, device time, computer performance, electricity, internet access, local files, credentials, provider APIs, WebSocket connections, and third-party changes. Risk limits, stops, protected exits, filters, monitoring, reconciliation, and other safeguards reduce some risks but cannot eliminate loss or guarantee execution.
You must independently monitor brokerage balances, buying power, positions, orders, and executions. Confirm the selected account, symbol universe, formula, schedule, order size, daily limits, and exit controls before enabling live workflows. Maintain a way to stop the software and manage positions directly with your broker.
7. Backtests, hypothetical results, and performance
Backtests, hindsight tests, simulations, examples, screenshots, win rates, hypothetical results, and past performance have limitations and do not predict or guarantee future performance. They may omit slippage, liquidity, latency, rejected orders, fees, taxes, changing market conditions, or other real-world effects.
8. Market commentary and software-generated output
ComputeX may publish educational material, technical explanations, product examples, market commentary, or opinions through its website, emails, documentation, or Community Forum. The Stock Agent produces formula-ranked candidates, technical conditions, alerts, and entry or exit decisions from configured rules. These outputs are not personalized, may be wrong or incomplete, and are not independently reviewed recommendations or assurances of suitability. Conduct your own research and consult qualified professionals when needed.
9. Testimonials
Testimonials, reviews, screenshots, selected trades, case studies, and user statements describe individual experiences and may not be typical or representative. They may omit losing trades, costs, taxes, risk, or other circumstances. They do not guarantee or predict future performance or success.
10. Trademarks and third-party brands
Broker, market-data provider, trading platform, company, product, service-mark, trademark, and logo names displayed by ComputeX belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify supported connections, data sources, or technical compatibility. Unless expressly stated in writing, ComputeX is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, authorized by, or an official partner of Robinhood, Alpaca, or another third party. Technical compatibility does not imply a commercial partnership, approval, endorsement, or authorization.
11. Software license and acceptable use
A completed purchase grants the purchaser a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the number of computers stated at checkout. The software, design, code, formulas, documentation, branding, and related materials remain protected intellectual property. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, distribute, share, bypass activation, remove ownership notices, interfere with security controls, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits it, or use the software to provide an unauthorized service to others.
12. Purchases, delivery, and refunds
Prices, included access, computer limits, delivery method, and refund or cancellation terms shown at checkout are part of the purchase. Checkout may be provided by a storefront and PayPal under their separate terms. Digital delivery may require verified payment, a working email address, and device activation. You are responsible for accurate contact information and checking filtered or junk-email folders.
13. Community Forum and communications
Forum and support channels are for product support and lawful community discussion. Do not post brokerage credentials, API keys, activation keys, passwords, authentication codes, private account records, payment credentials, or another person's personal information. You remain responsible for submitted content and permit ComputeX to host, display, reproduce, and moderate it as needed to operate the forum. ComputeX may restrict access for abuse, fraud, harassment, infringement, security threats, illegal activity, or violations of these Terms.
14. Taxes and professional advice
You are responsible for records, reporting, taxes, fees, and legal obligations resulting from your account and trades. ComputeX does not calculate or file taxes and does not provide accounting, legal, or tax advice.
15. Availability, warranties, and limitation
Features, formulas, connections, schedules, compatibility, and requirements may change. Updates may be required for security, licensing, or provider compatibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Stock Agent and related services are provided “as is” and “as available.” ComputeX does not guarantee accuracy, availability, compatibility, execution, profitability, fitness for a particular purpose, or any trading result. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComputeX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or trading losses arising from use of or inability to use the software or a connected service. Nothing excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
16. Privacy, changes, and contact
The Privacy Notice explains information handling. ComputeX may update these Terms when products, providers, or legal requirements change. Questions or legal notices may be sent through the support email or contact method displayed on the website or in purchase communications.
Effective September 21, 2026. These notices may change as products, providers, and checkout terms change.
